Preparing for MRI
Share information about implants and devices with the scheduling team. They will provide the screening and preparation instructions specific to your scan.
During your appointment
The technologist will position you, provide hearing protection and explain how to communicate during the scan. Let the team know about comfort or mobility needs in advance.
After imaging
The radiologist’s report is provided through the practice’s reporting process. Your referring clinician will discuss the findings and next steps with you.
